Books That Defy Reality

Well, some people love to end things. I like to stretch them. 😊

Something from Nothing, act two, was all about showing the readers how one may design an app that will grant them the power to create alternate realities without using CGI, so to speak. At the time, it seemed to have an eight-act story would be needed to fully address the issue. However, later I realized that wouldn't be necessary or more precisely these acts did not have to be as long as the first book. This lead to a two-act story with a prequel (!) that would follow acts two and three. Yeah, I know, I have the Hollywood genes. 😊

Anyway, here is my plan for the upcoming books in the series.

SFN2 will continue several years after the events that took place in book one. Kan is an old man by now. The alternate reality creation platform he has created has turned bad... so bad that he can no longer control it. However being a popular figure, he reveals tips and tricks only the best minds can understand. By doing so, he wants to end it with the help of a newfound friend.

1)           The Beginning (SFN1)

2)          The End (SFN2)

e. Winds of Change

f. A New Beginning  

While the number of chapters and their names may change, this seems to be the way to go right now. Unlike the first book, SFN2 will be about several different kinds of apps and strategies. The first book was about the Abacus version the Matrix. Think about the second book as the summation of all the movies that have to do with the Matrix universe. It's wild!

How about a twist? I have decided to make the story even bigger. There will be 6 books in total. SFN act one, act two which is the one we have been talking about until now... and 4 prequels! Yes, I know my Hollywoodeconomics. 😊

The prequels will cover centuries starting from antiquity. There will be a book covering events that took place thousands of years ago and another covering the middle ages. Another will be covering the last century. And yet another will cover the beginnings of the central figure in the Something from Nothing saga, "Kan". How do you like them apples? 😊
